Nick grew up on the Sunshine Coast and started surfing as a young boy. He quickly rose to the top with his power and air game. He was destined for great things and won the World Junior Title in 1994. A professional surfing career followed. Now he shares his vast experience and knowledge through his coaching business, Ascend Surf Coaching.

With a focus on development both in and out of the water, Ascend Surf Coaching is ready to take your surfing to the next level. Nick loves teaching surfing of all levels from first timers through to advanced and competition surfers. Nick is an accredited Surf Coach through Surfing Australia. 

 

Nick is a family man and all-round nice guy and is based at Coolum with his wife and kids, who both surf, and the family all enjoy the ocean. ​
